Heart’s Home is an international Catholic community of volunteers who give their time and hearts to live out and inspire in others a genuine “culture of compassion.” Since 1990, we have been reaching out to people from every walk of life, especially those most socially isolated, in some of the world’s most troubled areas. Walking with those whose hearts are wearied by loneliness, we want to offer the comfort and hope of God’s love through personal life-transforming relationships that reveal the beauty and dignity of each person.
We also work to infuse compassion into society at large, through lectures, art and other cultural initiatives, because we affirm the central place of the human person in all social, political, economic and cultural life. The International Center for a Culture of Compassion (ICCC) was founded in 2007 to support this worldwide effort. With a special consultative status at the UN, Heart’s Home works closely with ECOSOC in its efforts to promote human dignity.
