The Heart’s Home Centers

There are 41 Heart’s Home cen­ters around the world, each of which is a warm, wel­coming com­mu­nity house located within a deprived neigh­bor­hood. Each Heart’s Home center hosts four to eight mis­sion­aries who have chosen to answer God’s call by ded­i­cating at least 14 months of their lives to ser­vice of the poor. These vol­un­teers form deep bonds with needy indi­vid­uals throughout the com­mu­nity – from chil­dren to the elderly – and provide them with a loving human pres­ence.
