Subway Stations of the Cross
Soup & Bread Fundraiser for Heart’s Home

Follow Jesus’ footsteps in modern times

The Catholic Fellowship of NYC and the Cathedral Basilica of St. James are holding their 2nd Annual "Subway Stations of the Cross" for young adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

When? Good Friday April 22nd at 7pm.
Where? Cathedral Basilica of St. James
Corner of Jay Street and Cathedral Place
(one block south of Tillary Street)
Brooklyn, NY 11201

For each station of the cross, a relevant subway station is applied so as to reflect how Jesus would have walked today. For example, in the First Station where Jesus is condemned to death, the relevant subway station will be Jay Street, Borough Hall where there is a courthouse. The actual stations of the cross will take place in the church with visual aids provided.

After the stations of the cross, a modest meal of soup and bread will be held. A free donation for the meal is asked, which will be applied to Heart’s Home USA in support of their outreach in Downtown Brooklyn.
