Sr. Blandine Paponaud, President of Heart’s Home USA

Sr Blandine Paponaud is the President of Heart’s Home USA.

In 1998, sister Blandine quit her job as an Engineer in Computer Science and Statistics to become a Heart’s Home mis­sionary in Honduras. She played a key role in the foun­da­tion of the Heart’s Home Center in Tegucigalpa, by set­ting up the mis­sion­aries’ activ­i­ties as well as helping build an exten­sion to their house. Upon her return to France, she asked to join the Servants of God’s Presence, the reli­gious branch within Heart’s Home. In January 2001 she started her Postulancy Program in France, which was fol­lowed by a two-year Novitiate. In 2003 she came to the US to take part in the foun­da­tion of the Heart’s Home USA Center in the Bronx, NY. She helped in the devel­op­ment of the com­mu­nity’s min­istry and Reaching-out Program and com­mitted her­self to the Board of Directors, as the Executive Secretary. In 2006 she enrolled in Post-grad­uate studies in Washington, DC. She grad­u­ated in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies on Marriage and Family. Since then, she has been a member of the Heart’s Home Team at the ICCC, in Woodbourne, NY, in which devel­op­ment she has enthu­si­as­ti­cally and effi­ciently been par­tic­i­pating for the past 6 years. She was elected Heart’s Home President by the Board of Directors in July 2014.
