“Sacred Art is a Friendship” -
Artists Retreat at the ICCC

“Pablo Picasso and Fr. Marie-Alain Couturier”

To All Beauty lovers. On July 1st, come spend the day with us at the International Center for a Culture of Compassion (2 hours North of NYC).
This “art retreat” will focus on the life and work of Fr. Marie-Alain Couturier, a Catholic priest who, back in the 50’s, became friend with Matisse, Picasso, Le Corbusier, Rouault, Chagall, and many others. He renewed a living dialogue between art and faith. Fr. Marie-Alain Couturier was instrumental in both the Matisse Chapel in France, and the Rothko Chapel in Houston, TX.
Come and celebrate art and beauty and faith, surrounded by the magnificent Catskills rolling hills...
