Paul Anel, Art Director

Paul Anel is the Art Director of Heart’s Home USA. He de­vel­ops Heart’s Home’s net­work with lo­cal painters, mu­si­cians, dancers, singers, etc… Working with artists is part of Heart’s Home’s mis­sion to spread Compassion. Paul net­works var­i­ous artists by or­ga­niz­ing month­ly Art dis­cus­sions in Manhattan and Movie nights in Brooklyn.

He has a de­gree in Mathematics and ma­jored in Philosophy and Theology. He joined Heart’s Home in 1998. He was first sent as a Missionary to Brazil and then came back to France where he was in charge of or­phans and par­tic­i­pat­ed in the for­ma­tion of Heart’s Home Missionaries. He then led a three-year min­istry in the Prison de la Santé near Paris while be­ing at the same time, the Visitor of the Heart’s home in Colombia. Before his ar­rival in New York in 2008, he was com­plet­ing his stud­ies in Rome (Italy) where he al­so spend time vis­it­ing the home­less peo­ple.

Paul was or­dained dea­con on May 31^st, 2009.
