We are very excited to start the new school year with a new community!!
MacKenzie Karn is a student at Spokane Falls Community College studying elementary education. She grew up in Yakima, WA. She will be also working with Spokane youth. MacKenzie enjoys theater and camping. She is excited to join Heart’s Home to be a part of a loving and prayerful community and hopes to share compassion with all the new friends she makes.
Jordan Loe is a GU sophomore. She comes to us from a large family in Post Falls, Idaho. She previously was a REACH youth minister traveling in Montana. She plans on volunteering in hospitals at the children’s oncology ward. She looks forward to having sisters of community to help reach out to our neighbors and fellow students.
Hannah Wentz is a senior at GU studying engineering. She is very involved with campus retreats and works for student resource department. She is a dancer. She is very happy to join Heart’s Home and be able to love on people through good meals and parties and prayer.
Kaeli Joyce is a transfer student to GU from Centralia, Washington. She was a missionary with the organization Youth With A Mission and she edits for the Catholic magazine on campus called Witness. Kaeli is thrilled to have the opportunity to share Christ’s love through community, friendship, and hospitality, and can’t wait to get even more connected in the neighborhood.
Amy Koreski is returning for her second year with the student Heart’s Home in Spokane. She continues her studies of a Masters in Theology at GU and she will continue teaching elementary education. She is very excited to be a part of the spirit moving on campus and with a brand new community.
