Louis is a French mis­sion­ary, who knew Heart’s Home when he was work­ing in fi­nance in Manhattan. He joined the Heart’s Home com­mu­ni­ty in Chile in July 2009, for a 14-mon­th mis­sion.

In the be­gin­ning of January 2010, Fr. Thierry de Roucy joined Fr. Gonzague Leroux on the West Coast. The goal was to pro­mote Heart’s Home through sev­er­al con­fer­ences in the West Coast, and to pre­pare a spir­i­tu­al re­treat which will be tak­ing place in Hawaii dur­ing the com­ing sum­mer.

Maria V., a former Heart’s Home vol­un­teer, came back to the United States in October 2009. She left in October 2008 for a 12-mon­th mis­sion in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In the four videos she speaks about her mis­sion and her dai­ly life in Honduras.

Although we have lit­tle in­for­ma­tion at this time about the si­t­u­a­tion in Chile after the earthquake that hap­pened last night, we were at least able to con­tact the Heart’s Home mem­bers both in Valparaiso and Santiago and be as­sured that ev­ery­body was al­right.
