A year of mercy, a year of hope

As 2016 begins, we are full of joy for the many blessings God is bringing into our lives, and especially for you. Thank you for your support and friendship, in all the ways it comes. We invite you to be amazed with us at the beauty which is captivating us, both here in New York and around the world.

The Face of the Father's Mercy

Pope Francis has declared this year a Jubilee of Mercy, as he invites us to contemplate more deeply the mystery of God’s infinite mercy and to share it with others. We pray, as he does, that for you, “the year to come will be steeped in mercy, so that we can go out to every man and woman,
bringing the goodness and tenderness of God!”

I will not abandon you

From Lindsay in El Salvador:

"I see many faces and hearts everyday, but the face I see the most often is one that says: Don't abandon me..."

A Christmas surprise

Amid the "hustle and bustle" of December in this crazy city, this Christmas was an unexpected surprise, as we discovered the joy of being among friends.

Welcome Home!

As the old year ends and the new begins, our community changes... Farewell Sr Regine and Kamila, welcome Pawel, Joanna, Sr Katie!

A few ways you can help support us

Spread the word!

Coming soon to a state near you!

The Heart's Home team here in New York is hitting the road this year to reach out to you in your community about the beauty of living a more radical hospitality of the heart.

Would you like to invite us to your school, church, or youth group?
Want to meet some of our volunteers?

We are planning trips to Buffalo, Los Angeles, the Midwest, Texas and the D.C. area, and would love to come and see you!

Prepare for Lent

Erica Tighe, a former Heart's Home volunteer, is involved in a great project we wanted to share with you: Blessed is She,
a daily Catholic devotional blog,
by women, for women.

They have a workbook to journey through Lent with Scripture reflections by women from all walks of life. If you purchase it through us, Heart's Home receives 15% of the sale (and the same goes for anything else you buy in their shop). Whether you buy something or not, we wanted to let you know about this great resource.
