May 1 - A guided Tour of the MET Museum

Works from the MET collection

"Looking for the Infinite - The world’s main Religions unveiled in their Art".

Clash of Titans or Factors of Civilization ? Answers to the deepest human needs or institutionalization of the Spirit ? Living Water or Opium of the People ? The religious phenomenon is highly questioned today. Through selected pieces from the Metropolitan Museum’s outstanding Collection, we will have a look at the the world’s main religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. Artists captured their fundamental intuitions and contributions to Human History. But they also unveiled their inner dramas and tensions... A journey towards the human heart with its ambiguities, and its yearning for Infinite.
