Heart’s Home Villages

Located in Brazil and India, the Heart’s Home vil­lages wel­come home­less, dis­abled chil­dren and fam­i­lies for mid­dle and long term stays. They of­fer them an op­por­tu­ni­ty to pre­pare for re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion through com­mu­ni­ty life, prayer and job train­ing.

In Brazil, the Fazenda do Natal (Christmas’ farm)

The Fazenda was found­ed in 1992. It now counts 10 hous­es, an ap­pro­pri­ate school, an an­i­mal farm, a bak­ery, an or­chard, a work­shop, 3 pits, and a church. This is the dwelling place of 50 per­sons, in­clud­ing street chil­dren, teenagers con­vict­ed with pet­ty crimes, young sin­gle moth­ers, sick and dis­abled per­sons who share the dai­ly lives of the Heart’s Home Missionaries.

In India, the Garden of Mercy

The gar­den was found­ed in 2001. It is a fer­tile piece of land of 24 acres lo­cat­ed in the out­skirts of Chennai. A team of Heart’s Home Missionaries hosts 10 per­sons who suf­fer from var­i­ous hand­i­caps or sick­ness­es such as AIDS. Construction is un­der way to build larg­er fa­cil­i­ties to wel­come fam­i­lies in the near fu­ture. The de­vel­op­ment pro­ject al­so in­cludes the con­struc­tion of a small pal­lia­tive care cen­ter as well as of 2 work­shops.
