Heart’s Home Villages

Located in Brazil and India, the Heart’s Home villages welcome homeless, disabled children and families for middle and long term stays. They offer them an opportunity to prepare for rehabilitation through community life, prayer and job training.

In Brazil, the Fazenda do Natal (Christmas’ farm)

The Fazenda was founded in 1992. It now counts 10 houses, an appropriate school, an animal farm, a bakery, an orchard, a workshop, 3 pits, and a church. This is the dwelling place of 50 persons, including street children, teenagers convicted with petty crimes, young single mothers, sick and disabled persons who share the daily lives of the Heart’s Home Missionaries.

In India, the Garden of Mercy

The garden was founded in 2001. It is a fertile piece of land of 24 acres located in the outskirts of Chennai. A team of Heart’s Home Missionaries hosts 10 persons who suffer from various handicaps or sicknesses such as AIDS. Construction is under way to build larger facilities to welcome families in the near future. The development project also includes the construction of a small palliative care center as well as of 2 workshops.
