From June 18 to July 1, four youth taking part in Heart’s Home Volunteering Program attended Orientation Program. During 15 days, they shared the life of the Brooklyn Community and received comprehensive training and preparation for mission.
A day later, on July 2, Sarah was taking the plane which took her to her new homeland: Lima, Peru. On the same day, Armando flew off to Valparaiso, Chile, where he will be serving for the next fourteen months. In the weeks to come, Emily will be taking off for Buenos Aires, while Celina will start her brand-new mission in Salvador da Bahia.
Let us accompany them, their communities and the friends they serve with our prayers and thoughts!
Go guys! Bring Our Lady’s Compassion to all those who you will find on your way!
