Eric V. - 2010/ 2011

Eric began to work with Heart’s Home USA in September 2010, and was in charge of devel­op­ment and public rela­tions for the orga­ni­za­tion’s International Center for a Culture of Compassion (ICCC) in Woodbourne, NY. Working out of the Brooklyn office, he con­ducted research for devel­op­ment of the ICCC and main­tained rela­tion­ships with its part­ners, including foun­da­tions, cor­po­ra­tions, and edu­ca­tional insti­tu­tions. Eric also played a cen­tral role in plan­ning events asso­ci­ated with the ICCC, including the December 2010 con­fer­ence, “Business and Compassion: Rehumanizing our Economy.” He worked to build and main­tain Heart’s Home’s net­work of con­tacts in the New York area and beyond.

Eric is a native of Merrick, New York, and grad­u­ated in May 2010 magna cum laude from George Mason University, where he studied gov­ern­ment and com­mu­ni­ca­tion. He studied in the south of France for a semester in the fall of 2008, and is an avid fan of Olympique de Marseille.
