Construction of the ICCC

In 2007, Heart’s Home ac­quired a 125-acre prop­er­ty in Woodbourne, NY, where the International Center for a Culture of Compassion was estab­lished. The first day-ses­sions start­ed in 2008, after the main house on the prop­er­ty was ren­o­vat­ed. The ICCC has al­ready host­ed an art sem­i­nary on Rothko as well as nu­mer­ous men and wom­en re­treats.

In 2008-2009, we are launch­ing the first con­struc­tion phase, which will en­com­pass build­ing

• a 4-bedroom residence and
• 8 2-person retreat cabins.
  Our goal is to have a capacity of 20 persons at least for overnight stays by 2012.
